One of my favorite books, Lady in Waiting (by Jackie Kendall and Debby Jones) states a sobering truth that I believe every girl must ponder. “All the kisses you give before marriage and all the kisses you give after marriage express the love that belongs to one person: your knight.”
I think we can take this a step further: every kiss, every hug, every dream, and every endearment we laden on any guy-friend is one kiss, hug, dream, and endearment that should have been given to our husband after marriage.
Proverbs 10:12 says, “She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.” All the days of her life! Even before she knows him . . . before she loves him . . . before she marries him.
Are you doing your husband good?
{Note: I have quoted from Lady in Waiting, however, I cannot endorse this book to any young girl because of content it covers. Please ask your mom to proof-read it before you}

Wow...this is so true!
I want to save my first kiss for the man I marry--on my wedding day. :)
Much <3 in Christ,

Hi Ana Renee!
I am in total agreement about this!! I really like this quote by Leslie Ludy:
"If you future spouse could see you now, interacting with the opposite sex. Would they feel hurt and jealous? Or adored and special?"
Our brother's in Christ give us a special and different type of friendship. But we must tread carefully, they want us to guard their hearts just as much as we desire for them to guard ours!!
Thank you so much for your posts Ana! I've directed the young ladies in my girl's Bible study to check your site out:)
God Bless!
In Him, Cassie
What wonderful truth to ponder... thank you for this dear reminder!
In Christ,
