We have a daily choice before us: Jesus said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
Daily we must choose between self and Christ. Daily, we must
choose whether we will pick up our cross or leave it lying by the side. Daily
we must choose whether we will follow the lust of the flesh, the lust of the
eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:17) or follow Christ.
Today, will we deny ourselves?
Today, will we take up our cross?
Today, will we follow Christ?
